Marge & Thornwell is a documentary film about the relationship between a prisoner, Thornwell Richburg, who has been incarcerated since 1982 and his former high school principal, Marge Louer, who is 96 years old and legally blind.  Thornwell has been eligible for parole since 1996 but is continually denied "due to the nature of the crime" of which he was convicted.  Marge is committed to seeing him released during her lifetime.  Thornwell's next parole hearing will be in September 2013 at which point he will have lived 31 years in prison.
